Zasz performing as part of PARK Jams in July
Amanda McCoy returns to Coshocton County Thursday July 15, 7pm to perform in the old PARK hotel space as part of PARK Jams in July. This trip home to Coshocton Amanda will be playing bass with the progressive-symphonic-rock-meets–modern-alternative-rock-+-hints-of-jazz group Zasz. Think Mars Volta, Radiohead, Chick Corea …and expect piano driven melodies/rhythms and a theatrical performance.
“Just when you thought progressive rock was dead, a new young band coming out of all places, Nashville, spews out intense, high energy, complex, yet soulful music by real musicians…Voracious in their virtuosity, these folks bite off huge chunks and never choke.” Pandel Collaros, Music Professor and Music Commentator
Zasz–featuring Tim Zim on Vocals, Dan Shyles on Keys, Will Presley on Guitars, Amanda McCoy on Bass and Sean Sunderland on Drums is on tour presenting their second release, Destiny Beside the Great Divide.
In between performances in Columbus OH and Philadelphia PA, Zasz is stopping to perform a benefit concert promoting downtown Coshocton and the PARK space as a place to be (not a fundraiser).
The PARK space is a project of the Pomerene Center for the Arts and is dedicated to stimulating social gatherings, promoting community participation and development and attracting tourists and visitors. Evan Abood plays in the PARK Thursday, July 22, 7pm.
